When you sell trading shares of an underlying that you are also holding long term, do you use the lot specification screen to make sure you only sell the shares purchased last for capital gains purposes?

Just wondering since Etrade seems to offer that feature and the I was reading it is permissible to use the specification method verses First In First Out (FIFO) for capital gains, but you have to give the broker instructions as to which shares to sell.

Thanks for the input Greg (re: you are done selling) you have been a contrary indicator for me. :-)

Earnings blow out it will be. Today's action a bit of a surprise. Dont those analysts know how to add? (Strong results on wireless side from BAM, VOXX and so forth)

Still holding VOXX? The VOXX threads are quite but the stock is performing quite nicely.
