Thanx for that post. At least it's more reasonable! The question about math and 13 year old girls is more complex than it seems. If it were hormones--if puberty came into play and girls suddenly got bad at math because of estrogen, then other findings would not make sense. Such as, hormones actually start percolating at age 5-8 (no kidding) and shaping sexual behavior that early, long before the rites of puberty. But culturally, girls are steered away from so-called male pursuits. And those cultural rites come into play when sex differences start to show up on the body--not when the hormones actually start flowing.
