It means there is a higher expectation, and therefore a sell-off is likely if the whisper is not met. That is why some stocks seem to move down after announcing good earnings - good is seen as not good enough. Note CTXS last week. They beat the est. by a penny and announced a 2:1 split and yet the stock still traded down. StockHawk
