Anyway, Gustave might tell you (and I think has published a source in this thread) that EU regionalism was mainly a plot of the Flemish Belgium to get rid of the Walloons. I think it is not very "wirkmächtig" (effective) at the time. Re: films. What does 'tacky' mean? A guess: similar to 'trash-y'?
