The New Pair of Dimes -

Here's a commentary on PLUG and the fuel cell craze:

``Everyone's shifting attention to the companies of the future,' said Charles Payne, head analyst at Wall Street Strategies, an independent market research firm. ``It's continued validation of the whole new paradigm.'

``What do all of these companies have in common? They don't have to worry about earnings right now. They have a free pass,' Payne said, noting that many companies have yet to post earnings or substantial sales. ``And that's the beauty of these companies.'

Investing the Rorschach way: if the companies have no history, you can imagine it the future to be anything you like.

hard to say anything about this chart that isn't
already obvious. But the difference between
now and 87 is worth observing. The current situation
is at once both worse and less severe. Interesting.
