Well, a few days ago I was expressing some cynicism about the likely effect of a name change on the stock price. I was hoping to be proved wrong, and it looks like the market is obliging me. And I love being wrong like this!
Let's hope it is a lasting effect.

Tom

I don't think this movement is because of the name change.

NEOF - NEOFORMA.COM did it's IPO today. They have 48 million shares out and right now are at $57 with a high of $60 (IPOed at $13). This is a market cap. of around $2.8 billion right now.

Neoforma.com is a leader in providing business-to-business e-commerce
services in the large and highly fragmented market for medical
products, supplies and equipment

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, Neoforma.com reported revenues of $464,000 and a net loss of about $25.6 million.

Best Regards
