Cheeky, this might surprise you, but just because the official measuring system is imperial, does not mean that we go through school having never been exposed to the metric system. Pretty much impossible to get through chem without it.

We studied metric in depth. We were told that the country WAS switching over. It is much easier. All you have to do is remember those darn prefixes.<g>
All scientific busy work is done in metric
