Dear Bill Gates: (a) I would like to see MSFT have a good solution and product in the b2b market space (Beyond bcentral, beyond 2-% stake in VERT; beyond 20 - 30% stake in freemarket. Commerce one, Ariba, Oracle are way ahead. This is a software business. What is microsoft's solution in this space. (b) Would like to see MSN portal to be ahead of AOL and YHOO in popularity, revenue & profit generation. Why is the subscribership still ~2mill for MSN?. Why can't it be 5 million - 10 million? What are microsoft's answers? As chief software architect, I know you will come up with brilliant answers to these fast growing software markets and keep MSFT in the front seat.
