Rory and all,
Notice the volume in IO today? One thing I like about this little doggie is that it doesn't follow the indexes too closely.

RE: IO
Large move in volume today and Thompsons (FWIW) shows almost all institutional buying. Any thoughts on this one (beaten down doggy that it is, VBG)?

It was mentioned in an article, but unless the author is well known, could it have done the volume today?:

The latest additions to the portfolio include oil-drilling companies Input/Output (NYSE:IO - news) and Global Industries (NASDAQ:GLBL - news) .

Input/Output, which sells seismic hardware equipment used on land to find oil and natural gas, is a company Conreur says used to trade at $40, but he bought it at
$5.20 a share. When the cycle turns, he expects it to triple.

Global Industries, which installs pipelines in deep waters, is another oil drilling player Conreur believes will recover when the cycle turns.

β€œ[These stocks] are still dead in the water, so they haven't done anything for me yet, but they will benefit from the resurgence of drilling activity in U.S.,” Conreur
says. β€œThe industry is in a slump, but I think because of their market share, they will be survivors.”

Best Regards,
