This is generally bad news. Over-booking or double booking distorts the supply situation and makes it very difficult for AMD/Intel to forecast. Just about the only people who comeout *really* ahead in these situation are the folks who are selling into the black market.

<Hope AMD takes advantage of this window of opportunity.>

AMD should get some benefit of this. The key issue here is if the motherboard/chipset side has been exploited to take the fullest advantage of the situation.
