(NASDAQ:LGTO - news), the leader in enterprise storage management software, to develop and deliver the curriculum for SAN 101. This is the first course of Legato SAN Academy, a series of free, online courses that will explore the fundamentals and the technical aspects of storage area networking (SAN). The SAN Academy will offer courses throughout the year to help businesses and organizations worldwide understand, plan and deploy SAN technologies. Polaris, who developed and instituted the industry's first hands-on fibre channel training course and has since delivered technical training courses specific to storage area networks, will develop and deliver the curriculum for SAN 101, entitled ``A Foundation for Understanding SANs.'
