I think Mikey D would be a fool not to look at AMD, despite Intel throwing him a bone. He's probably playing both ends against the middle.

Nothing to do with altruism - everything to do with ensuring that there is no defection to AMD.

Losing Dell would be a major setback for Intel's reputation.


Charles, I agree....Intel can't afford to lose another OEM.

Meanwhile the stock is acting like AMD hit a foul instead of a home run. I am sure investors are wondering why there are no upgrades when AMD did so well.....they don't realize yet that its a buying opportunity ;~)
