Z. London Financial Times had article today about the upcoming boom in fixed wireless, for internet access, in Europe. No equipment guys mentioned, just the telecom companies drooling to get going. Apparently licensing etc through EU is really starting to take off, and there are some major deployments planned. It sure is critical that NN gets something major here, else I am afraid their wireless strategy comes to nothing.

have you seen this?

Newbridge Networks Outlook Remains Positive:

Sure, zo, it looks a lot like the stuff they've said in previous quarters. ATM was the savior last year, wireless will be the savior this year, next year will no doubt bring a new acronym - but in the end NN has virtually the same earnings today that it had 5 years ago. That's not good and doesn't justify a PE of 40.

My guess is NN doesn't make the 13 cent consensus and we get a replay of last quarter's adventure.
