My option trading is fairly limited and outright long or short positions tend to be quite short-term, entered when it seems that momentum in either direction is petering out and may reverse.

A good example is MRVC early today, when it opened up after a huge rally on Friday, then turned down and broke thru Friday's close. 89 or so was far and away an all-time high so there was no "resistance" there, the stock simply turned and started dropping. Buyers had at least temporarily lost the ability to drive it higher.

I use KARMA and GUT feeling. It's the only thing that works. I am proud to sat that I have never read a company's balance sheet or annual report.
