RE: Manipulation- yes, today Mr. Soprano made a "courtesy call" on my portfolio; seems that my expectations of a pre-earnings "run" for QCOM/JDSU/ETEK was more like being backed over a few times by Soprano's land yacht.
While I was picking out baseball bat slivers from the back of my head, I bought QCOM at 142 and GMST at 72 before I passed out.

I'm probably about to be attacked, but I just posted that I thought that JDSU is a much better play than QCOM over on the Gorilla and King Candidates thread. I believe this, and think we'll see QCOM get hammered. I think that a lot of people who claim to be GG investors and call this a gorilla, are really just a bunch of momentum investors. When someone with enough credibility screams fire, there are going to be a lot of investors caught in the building.

Just my opinion, which may be wrong.
