I think this means that intel can forego any near term price decreases. That's money inthe bank. The only important thing is to make sure they satisfy demand - but just barely to prevent AMD from selling into the unfilled high end.

The only worry is that when overbooking occurs one sees the whole thing unravel when supply catches up with the perceived demand, which is no longer present because of double booking. Lets hope we don't go through all that again.
