What can one expect when the media companies are benefiting by the internet mania. Imagine CNNFN spitting bad news about AOL anymore ! In fact stuart Varney the host of Moneyline called into a Larry King show and when Larry asked him what he thought of the Time-AOL merger, Stuart replied it is great and the stock is very undervalued and everyone should buy it.

I think Steve Case converted his funny money very smartly to real money by suckering the Time-Warner crowd. I thought Ted Turner was smarter than that.

More such "old" media and "New economy darlings" mergers or investmens less likely that the facts and logic will blare over those TV channels or new media.
