Good questions asked.
I have to say yes, still to this because, Amplatts and Impala were looking for potential projects, long before I or the public knew. They carefully looked at a number of companies, and their projects.
This opinion that I bare, is based on my experience only. There are alot of aspects that I considered, and won't bore you with.
There is no doubt that the first results that came out of Jane's township that started the main interest. That's where the South African's started sniffing around and made their selection.
I may be shot down for this next part of my post, but again, this is my opinion and what I see and believe.
Most think I favour Pfn, well I do. Not ashamed to admit that, as they are the ones that got this area play started by coming up with results, encouraging enough to attract majors.
They seem to be the only ones committed enough to see their projects through..(judging on results and write-ups)
I see Flag and their sister company, that have been probably, the longest junior in the area, but assays are needed to show his commitment to the area, and rumour is they have some pending that may be of interest.
Mmin, good people behind the company, but they seem to be interested in East Bull Lake, at this present time, which bothered me some.
Did some digging and I believe at this time, and this is only on my DD, that Impala has the control on how the project RV is explored, and when. My instinct tells me, they are waiting for Pfn/Amplatt's to make their move, as Pfn does have control.
The timing of Pfn announcing the joining of Amplatts, then the next week Implala announcing right beside them?
Just observing all, and I mean all are waiting for Pfn/Amplatt's to make their move, and Impala/Mmin, Aqi, and Flag will follow on their coat tails. I have seen this before.
The good news..drilling of the River Valley Intrusion will begin on or about the 1st of March. I expect to see releases from the other company's prior to the starting of this million dollar drilling project.

Regards
G

An interesting post Mr. Quinn located and posted. I have checked and the list is 100% correct, but will have to disagree with the statement "drills running on all fronts", a little ahead of time, in my opinion.
Common knowledge that Pfn plans on starting drilling approx, the first of March, in the long awaited area which is River Valley.
Thanks John for the posting.

G
