Fruitless legal maneuvers, after Dorian Reed's criminal conviction: From the docket, it appears that Reed made at least one and maybe two unsuccessful appeals of his conviction. That was after an earlier unsuccessful attempt to get a new trial due to alleged 'governmental misconduct.' Still more tricks: He made an unsuccessful motion in the middle of his prison term, asking to have his sentence interrupted. Later, in August 1997, he made a similarly unsuccessful motion for early termination of his supervised release.
