Monday January 24, 10:39 pm Eastern Time Asia Global Crossing, IRI in talks to set up JV TOKYO, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Asia Global Crossing Ltd said on Tuesday that it and Internet Research Institute (IRI) are in a final talks to set up a joint venture in Japan. Asia Global Crossing, a joint venture of U.S.-based Global Crossing Ltd (NasdaqNM:GBLX - news), Softbank Corp , and Microsoft Corp (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news), plans to announce details of the joint venture on Thursday afternoon in Tokyo, a company spokesman said without elaborating further. Top executives of Asia Global Crossing and IRI are expected to attend the news conference, he added.
