Gary, >>isn't that too early to call it a slump?

The team struggled against Iowa last week and they were lucky to win that one. IMO, they are not playing at the level of intensity that they demonstrated earlier in the season. Yesterday they just plain could not hit the basket!!!!! A 15-0 run against them in the second half.

>>How's that new computer?

It is great...faster than a speeding bullet..and definitely a toy...but buying bleeding edge technology is a pain. The machine and OS are solid as a rock and this DVD-RAM is something else. I am working with the software vendors that have not got their software updated for the machine. I spent a lot of time getting work-arounds from them until they release new products to support the machine. I have found the software vendors great to work with, fortunately I am retired and have lots of time to try out the work-arounds. <ggg>

How about a short lived slump. <ggg> The women did well this evening. To bad we didn't catch Mich. St. on a night like they are having tonight. They played their worst game of the season, losing to Ohio State.

The poll dinged us for that loss. Thank god, these polls don't have much to do with the opportunity to play in championships.

Take care, Joan
