When writing what I did, I was actually thinking about that.

There would first have to be reason for consolidation in the industry.

Since AMD already has operations in Germany, I would say AMD is its own D-B. ;)

Who knows, maybe Motorola and AMD will become even closer working partners. If anyone, whoever shares Fab 30 with AMD may be a glimpse into the future.
