>> I don't have to play the game to understand it.

Actually, LoF, suggesting a newbie to Gorilla gaming rtfm is regarded as friendly advice on this thread. Our terminology is very esoteric and we're sticklers about using Gorilla in the context suggested by Goeff Moore as opposed to just a big company. Until you get around to rtfm'ing, there is a cheat sheet coupled to the thread header that defines Gorillas, Chimps, Monkeys, Kings, Princes (which is the category we put Dell in) and Serfs. It's virtually impossible to explain why glbx can never be a Gorilla without that background.

>> As for options, why should options investing be viewed as an indication that one is not a player of the GG?

The GG model is only applicable to ltb&h investing. Dr. Moore suggests short term timers might as well go to Las Vegas. Because these stocks are so sturdy, they are also superior options plays, but that is absolutely not Gorilla gaming. If you are looking for momentum calls, the Q thread has a number of excellent TA artists that are surprising accurate.

Frank was being very nice I thought. Trust me on this one...if you have read the book, come to understand our notions, definitions,....you wouldn't be asking about GBLX and a potential "move" to gorillahood. It just cannot happen. As for the MoMo guys you see in QCOM, or the Options folks, or me with my margins, those are not GG plays. GGers are, BY DEFINITION, LTB&H.

Frank's not being testy. We cover all of this in the thread header...including a stong suggestion about RTFM. So Pleeeeaaaazzzzze!

LoF,

<< I see a bunch of momentum and/or short-term traders in QCOM. Not gorilla gamers >>

Methinks you are reading the wrong QCOM thread. <g>

When a stock skyrockets like Q did last year and in the process becomes very volatile, the momentum and/or short-term traders flock to an SI thread on dedicated to that subject. If you track back this thread starting in March you will see a lot of examination of Qualcomm and its LTB&H gorilla characteristics.

I did rtfm. Why so testy, anyway?

We're testy because of your poor attitude, as a newbie on this thread.

If you've read the manual, then you should be able to better articulate your positions, as they relate to gorilla gaming.

Uncle Frank started this thread, and consensus was reached here in recent months by all of us thread regulars that he and other long-term members should politely guide newbies, so as to reduce clutter and to better focus all of us on our mission here. His post to you was clear, reasonably polite, and standard fare for all newbies.

I've read your profile, and find your bragging about % stock gains to be offensive and in poor taste. I am sincerely glad for your early success at such a young age; but your immaturity and arrogance are glaringly obvious. I sorta wish you tried to wow us more with what you've done to contribute to society, or better yet, just leave such things private.

Prosperous Investing (Tm),
