I don't have a clue either - but he/she definitely wasn't the last person to fly in a jet. Others found jet travel a compelling means of transportation - even despite some early problems with the sharped-corner/window British Comet jets that disappeared from the sky in the early 1950's. Likewise, ITanium will have a slow start - probably a few hiccups along the way - but should eventually become the standard CPU for enterprise servers and workstations. Paul

Ref- <I do remember the story about the University president who agreed to be vaccinated to demonstrate how safe it was. He died> That reminds me of another of my worries. Who is going to be the brave soul who will volunteer to be the first human subject for an AIDS vaccine ? And how will we know that the vaccine is working ? Not a pleasant thought ! Much better to be a test pilot ! Best,I would rather be the guinea pig to test the first ITANIUM based system.
