Seldom does a top just come and go all in one day.Distribution must occur before a true top can be called.I think a failed attempt to break out over that 4300 will be the perfect trap to initiate short positions into.It could well and should well happen on good volume with a close in the lower part of the days range (much like yesterday)

Going back - remember Oct 8 1998 the most beautful double bottom ever put in - vix in 60's +.Any purchases made the week before were great buys.I think in a converse way any shorts taken before the next failed top will be excellent shorts.

I remember your positional trade for 200 + points that had to be initiated around that time??? Thats when I said " I've got to learn to do that!!!!
