GMST in england
edited..

have you seen this? look at these numbers...
this is just one country...england. sheesh i get excited when i find something like this.

thread members talk about GMST and the USA...and what tv models and what stores...what about vcr's? we are not going to buy a vcr without gemstar and then you will have to have it on your tv. next we will be copying to our r/w dvd and watch the show while driving to the beach.
(the dvd will of course be a very high density type using a CREE blue laser).
:o)
has anyone kept any pro-forma or real numbers on the GMST roll-out in other countries?
GMST reports earnings on feb 15. seemed a bit tardy to me till i realized they have to count beans around the world...tv beans, vcr beans, set-top beans, advertising beans, royalty beans, licensing beans from how many countries? at the home page the languages offered are english, german, spanish, french and italian.

gemstar.co.uk

home page....http://www.gemstar.co.uk/

i like headers idea on the posts...will simplify searches too.
