, it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
The stock market as a whole makes me paranoid. When there are large sums of money at stake I get suspicious. As an example, I have some shares of LVLT, several months ago there seemed to be an effort by many brokerages to warn about the "bandwidth glut". The price went down by half. Now if you look at charts, money was flowing into the stock pretty heavily after that, more heavily than a bunch of individual buyers. Suddenly bandwidth is okay and the stock has rebounded. If this was manipulation, then it went on for several months. Normally I would think one brokerage or hedge fund scheme would cancel out another's. So now I get paranoid about collusion. Still, this is the only game I know where I have a chance to win.
