I tend to do that only on stocks whose trading range I'm familiar with, almost by osmosis, of watching them daily. That would mainly be QCOM and JDSU right now. Others that I watch are not as volatile."

another post i love. like stocks don't break through trading ranges.

somehow i pictured you posting from somewhere in the midwest and you did confirm you were from chicago.

i noticed many option players who think that selling puts on jdsu and qcom is free money--as safe as the interest on an insured certificate of deposit. i am bullish on those myself, but no stock is a sure thing.
