I see and do you know if these "misprints" qualify to run stop orders...?

Walk Softly said, "...also how they signal their cohorts as to where they are taking an issue..." BINGO! You hit the nail on the head. I often see odd prints go across at levels well above or below the current trading range...like way out man! At first I figure them to be late prints...and some of them may be just that. But I have noticed with regularity that many of these out of range prints become a point of support or resistance on the very next move. Just today I saw one of those when I was watching MADJF level 2 and time & sales window. I can't remember what the price was but when I saw it I immediately thought that it must be a mark. Sure enough, within 5 minutes the stock took off and hit that price and stalled.

Of course this doesn't mean we all need to chase a stock every time we see an odd print. LOL! But it is something that we should all try to watch for and maybe detect a pattern. Every little piece of the puzzle helps.

Maybe I'm just seeing Black Helicopters but it sure sounds good.

Cheers!
