Any idea what "Net Subscribers" means on 3rd slide, first graph?

I think it means the number of new subs that will be added each year. It is a pretty good slide showing that replacement sales and churn will become the majority of growth for the wireless industry.

DS,

Re Strategis wireless slides - US handsets

<< what "Net Subscribers" means on 3rd slide, first graph? >>

"Net Subscribers" should probably be stated as "Net New Subscribers" (which is what it relly represents. Cellular subscriber growth is declining in the US. Handset sales are growing. This is because of replacement of phones due to new features or technology. It is also do to churn (from one carier to another, sometimes to different technology). Lots of analog replacement here still. A BAM analog subscriber goes digital with BAM, result ='s o new net subscriber.
