Some news out on GTMI: GTMI Subsidiary, Bentley House Furniture, Signs Exclusive Manufacturing Contract With Leading Architect NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 2000-- Contract To Produce $75 Million In Revenue Over 7 Years; Royalty For Exclusive Rights To Be Paid In Equity, Based On Revenue Global TeleMedia International, Inc. (OTC: BB: GTMI) announced today the signing of an exclusive agreement by its Bentley House Furniture subsidiary ("BHFC") with Paul Thoryk, one of Americas most awarded architect/designer, for the manufacturing of his signature line of hotel and resort furniture. Under the terms of the contract Mr. Thoryk will bring to the Company $75 million in contracts for his exclusive hotel and resort furniture designs over the next 7 years in return for a 5% royalty payment which will be paid in the form of equity in the Company, rather than in Cash. The long-term partnership limits Mr. Thoryk to a maximum of 5%(equity) royalty, even if the eventual volume of contracts generated is in excess of $75 million. The first contracts under this agreement involve several hotel resorts in Aruba, which Mr. Thoryk is currently redesigning and refurbishing including the Aruba Sonesta and Harbor Town Hotel, the Seaport Village and the Seaport Market Place Seaport Village Mall as well as two casinos. BHFC has delivered the first samples for these projects. Mr. Thoryk has been awarded over 70 Grand Design Awards, including the Gold Nugget Grand Award and Award of merit 21 times and 15 major architecture awards, including Best in Architecture for "The Plazas" in Las Vegas. He has designed over 25 commercial centers and several Casino Resorts, and has agreed to design the interior for the Sydney Eco-Tech hotel, www.ipandco.com, being built halfway between the City of Sydney and the Olympic Stadium at Home Bush Bay. Mr. Thoryk is the designer of one of the world's largest gambling resorts. It will feature golf course, country club, four 30 floor hotel/casinos, convention facilities and resort condominiums totaling 6,000 rooms and units.
