Notebooks
If there is a dark lining to this silver cloud, it is that many businesses buying notebooks are doing so at the expense of traditional desktop computers. With a docking station (separate monitor, keyboard, and mouse) the user can have a full powered desktop in the notebook. The notebook just has to be slipped out of the station when travelling. No need to sync up files later, you always have them.

I think the new wireless network interfaces are really going to send notebook sales through the roof. Now you can send/receive e-mail while sitting in the meeting. (Or playing hearts with each other if the meeting is dull).
