Topic: Financial Corruption
Are Stock Markets Rigged

Strategic Investment Newsletter
11/18/98 James Davidson

"We've been telling you for years that the leadership of the U.S. governmnet is corrupt and that stock markets in the United States are rigged for political reasons. If you have been short of stocks in recent weeks, you have lost money because your tax dollars were used against you in "crony capitalism..."

"...As Bill King has documented many times in his astute morning commentary, the rigging exercise has followed distinct patterns, with much of the intervention designed to make Bill Clinton look good..."

"...A similar pattern was observed a week later, on Tuesday, Feb. 17. King reported in his commentary:

"A Clinton speech; stocks soar prior to the speech, then fall 50 the rest of the day. As we keep carping, the best trade of the past five years has been to go long (especially S@P's) before a Clinton press address/conference. The gains have been stupendous, and we don't recall a single loser, provided you sell just as the address commences..."

"...We have heard that some hedge funds, particularly D.E. Shaw, owned by BankAmerica, got calls with advance warning to realign their portfolios in anticipation of an interest rate cut by the Fed..."
