Wow, they're throwing it out the window like confetti. Lost track of the giant blocks being traded in the last five minutes. 125K at 65 is a highlight. Somebody must have downgraded.

did some sort of news just break? price fell off a cliff in the course of a few seconds, fastest drop i've ever seen...weird dropped from over 68, to 65 in a couple minutes?

EDIT: bidding 64 1/2 now

John, Great Post!

One thing that's different this year is that at Banc of America Securities, Rick Whittington, (formerly SoundView) is now the analyst. He's just downgraded from strong buy to buy, based upon falling DRAM prices, (per CNBC).

Perhaps the importance of the conference isn't who's the analyst, but the character of the house itself.
