It spiked because its oversold and has a good chance to beat earnings.. Look at #7 today's watch list. Riding merrily along at high of the day because of a good earnings report yesterday after the close. Note that this stock is pretty much below its 52 week high but with a 48% EPS growth and breakout of symmetrical triangle to the upside it should continue to do well. #3 is even in worse condition but with quite a few strong buys under its hat and still a good estimate should do similarly if not better. Of course you can't be sure about anything in this market but you have to give youself the stocks with the best odds.
