RCNC explains it all, but yes, fiber will replace cable (in the sense that cable companies will upgrade to fiber in the long run). In that sense, I expect that cable co.s will do well for the last mile, in addition to the Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs). It's the national and international networks (sans RCNC the CLECs: WCII, TGNT, ICIX) that I have placed the bulk of my investments.

NXLK is my major national network wireless play, and MCOM is a secondary investment.
