: Boy, those pictures bring back memories. I used to race in Scrambles over 40 yrs. ago. Course we didnt have the fancy stuff you got today, but we had a lot of fun on our Harley Hummers and Triumph Cubs. haha. JDN

It dawned on me the other day that though I've owned well over 100 bikes, this KLR is my first new one ever.

I rode my son's KDX and it was a major surprise. I grew up on 2-strokes and was intimately familiar with their pipey nature, but the engine in this thing is orders of magnitude better than any 2-stroke I rode in my day. Not only does it have a lot more power than I expected such a small engine to have, it actually has a lot of pull down low. What a bike!

Hi JDN, I have a Jeep question. My '95 Grand only runs at a temperature of 160 on the gauge. That doesn't help the heater or the defroster much when it's snowing. I had a new thermostat put in but still doesn't warm up. I know this wouldn't affect you much but have you heard of others with this problem?
