Well, we KNOW how TED feels...he got AMD to "phone home"...>

Intel needs to support PIII600s and below as long as they have Katmais in the mix (at least through Q2). AMD has no such baggage and is already aggressively pushing to 600. 650 or 700 may become the baseline for Q2.

It looks like Emachines has become a nice "clearance" deal for Intel. Without Emachines, those Katmais could be tough to get rid of.
