I couldn't agree with you more. I don't know if you have noticed
that Namco has had big volume recently, and
has received a Merrill Lynch write up. This part of the diamond sector
is getting a lot of attention.

By the way, nice pop in the stock today. Looks like it is headed a lot
higher.

Regards

Dan

John:

DFI up again this morning. I just received Merrill Lynch and Nesbitt Burns
recent reports on Namco, and they are quite positive. Namco bought ODM,
an African off shore diamond mining company for about US $63 million, and they
are now the number 2 off-shore diamond producer in the world, after De Beers.

The amazing feature is that it is estimated that the off-shore diamond
deposits are something like 4 fold the resource that exists on African land.
In short, it appears that the offshore diamond mining is rapidly becoming
the dominant source of production, particularly in Africa.

No question that Diamondfields is litteraly sitting on a gold mine (or should
we say diamond mine), and with Namco the technological leader in the field it
would be logical fo them to combine in some way. Acquiring Diamondfields
is going to be a lot more expensive than ODM was, however, for Namco.

What is not well appreciated by investors in this sector, is that the finest
quality diamonds in the world (hence getting the highest price per carat)
are exactly where Diamondfields concessions lie.
