Well, I guess we don't have to speculate about management announcing a split tonight...seems the market's gone and done a 3-for-2 all on its own...<VBG>

Anyway, I've just been sitting and watching over the past few weeks...haven't been buying or selling much of anything (picked up some more IDX, but that's OT and probably only of interest to RobC).

I figure that regardless of the numbers or subscriber count (after all, how many folks could we expect to sign up in the fourth quarter, with looming Y2K fears and all?), there's gotta be an awful lot of pent up Schwab and Chase and Fidelity and Yahoo marketing dollars waiting to get out of the gate to promote EBPP this year...

I seem to remember Elton John spots all over the tube for Citi last summer, with a $50 reward if you paid two bills online. No reason to think that that kind of thing won't get fired up again...Jeez, think of the incentives banks could lavish on customers with all the Y2K contingency money they DIDN'T have to spend in January, as nothing of substance broke down...

Anyway -- even at $79, it's still all good as far as I can see...
