i've been comparing my "value" portfolio to the high flyer "markets." seems my portfolio does well when the markets are flat to slightly down. big up days in the market usually mean down days in my stocks. seems there is not enough money to keep all cylinders firing all the time.

Wayne, I agree but I think many fiat proponents know that it will fail someday. It's strange at the moment we seem to have convinced the world that they must finance our purchases of their surplus goods or the world economy is in trouble. Mike
