heinz: Interesting that VIX never moved up much today despite the sharp market selloff at one point. The peak was a bit over 26 -- now a bit over 25. By contrast the early January jump peaked at 30. Still very little fear in this market despite yesterday's steep hit. With the bond vigilantes on high alert, hard to see anything more than a modest bounce before the market moves significantly lower.
