Intel to Build $2 Billion Chip Plant
PALO ALTO, Calif. (Reuters) - Intel Corp. (NasdaqNM:INTC - news), the world's largest semiconductor maker, said on Tuesday it will spend $2 billion to build its first chip plant that will use larger, dinner-plate-sized silicon wafers.
