Good Evening all.

I remember in May when WK was announced Yahoo didn't put the news under than IWM.V ticker, stock was moving very strong prior to release and we had a quite week trading on a news day. The GE deal will move the price eventually.

Now to CDMA and Sierra.
SW and IW bundled up their respective products which are for CDPD network and they have agreed to work for CDMA products in the future. I may be wrong here but Sierra doesn't have CDMA cards as of yet. In fact I don't think they have a TDMA card either. They have managed strike a deal with Sprint on first and with AT&T on second. Judging from the time frame CDMA is first to be ready sometime in the second part of the year. It would be very interesting if anyone provides such a connection as of today and I don't really think they do. There is an exception of Socket(SCKT)which connects a phone through the card which is being plugged to the laptop and they can do it with GSM, CDMA phones, but you have two independent devices working together where phone acts as a modem. They even have a bluetooh capability when there will be no wire connection between the phone and laptop, nice feature at the meeting when phone stays in the briefcase, while you browsing the company's intranet. They also have a deal with Sprint PCS.

I read an article which describes better qualities of second generation PCS networks(CDMA, TDMA, GSM) and specifically CDMA over the TDMA on example of Bell Mobility (Bell Canada). Interesting, that maybe a hint why IW is going GSM and CDMA. I wrote about Phone.com and IW involvement in GSM, which we will hear about in Second day of February. We had a release from January 13 about Sierra.

I can't help myself think that IW presence on a dawn of today's Sierra's deal is quite more than just a combination or compatibility of two, should say three great products we read in release from Jan. 13. At the time the promise of work on CDMA, was like yeah, ok, that is nice. Today, we grown some wings, people. I don't mean to say that IW is fundamental in Sierra's CDMA efforts (I like that thought a lot)yet I don't think, I am out for lunch on this one. Sierra will have to build a card for CDMA and quite surely IW will build their CDMA version of Net or Exchange. Now, the question if Sprint will invite IW along for the ride, will have to be answered sometime in second quarter. The bundle shipment is almost like no brainer, but who knows. I read on RB and SH and many times I seen the phrase " watch and listen", I think it originated from "Budy". It was somewhat intriguing to listen to the market more in the symbolic sense than anything. As of today I think I can finally hear the growth of IW to become a powerhouse in "device-agnostic" software for wireless market. It is a still very new and fresh foundation. What is important the foundation becomes very widely spread, growing horizontally, building on partnerships, alliances and sale channels. When IW will start growing vertically, look out.
