During the various thread crises, for example, I got more PMs from loyal lurkers who were distressed by the decline in the thread than from RT members. I think most of our regular lurkers are people who fully appreciate the quality of analysis presented here--that's why they bother to lurk--but for some inexplicable reason do not feel compelled to see their name in print on a daily (hourly?) basis. Sometimes that's the wisest course of action for all concerned. I think we should all keep the loyal lurkers in mind when we post, as our most appreciative and respectful audience. tekboy/Ares@JMNSHO.com
