ElectOfGod, "I cannot allow that men are ever allow to believe wrong things about the Bible or God...that is to allow Idolatry." That's something I was weak at doing in the past, allowing someone to believe something that is wrong. But I realize God is the one who will convince someone of the truth, not me. Hence my suggestion of prayer, and also continued study of the bible! One of us will learn the truth one day, straight from God, if we earnestly seek it. I tried to show you what God has shown me, but I can not convince you based upon that. He must show you himself. I can not! I tried! Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. It is unreasonable to read God's word and believe God does not love everyone. It is also unreasonable to believe God would deny someone eternal life if they had faith in Jesus, that he died for their sins and through his shed blood you are saved. If they believe in their heart that Jesus lived, died and was resurrected, and they are saved because of his shed blood, they are saved. No if, ands or buts! So much scripture in context tells you this. And you could mangle scripture all you want, and take it out of context, but you can not change that message throughout the scriptures, unless you really don't want to see the truth. I truly believe this is your case. But I'll pray about it as I said. "If you are sincere about praying and being open to truth then they will get through to you if you are elect... If not then what you have said is typical self delusion." If you are denying my salvation, read the bible about humility. Your statement is not an example of it. In fact, it is more of an someone who thinks they are elite! And we know thinking one is better than the next, or a person judging another person, is not of God. I'm guilty sometimes, how about you? Or are you perfect? In fact, I received eternal life by accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior in my heart. If you think God did not honor that, or for that matter, anyone else who has accepted in their heart that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, are you going to be surprised at judgement time.
