What is going on with myTrade lately ?

We are experiencing delays at market open.
Yesterday the delays were in the display of
open orders.
Today the delays were in acknowledgment of the
orders from the broker and in the acknowledgment
of the executions.

Why are you having delays ?

We have two servers handling the brokerage application.
The load going to them is not balanced. Today we shifted
some more load to the underutilized server which helped
with the open order inquiry. Tomorrow we plan to shift
additional load and we think the acknowledgment problem
will go away.

What about long term when trading gets heavier ?

We plan to add an additional broker server over the weekend.
Each server can probably handle about 4,000 trades per day.

What's the story with Bulletin Board & Pink Sheet stocks ?

We have a lot of members complaining about the timely
executions and the inability to cancel the orders.
One needs to understand that this is not an automated market.
The market maker (herzog - which happens to be one of the better
one in BB) needs to contact the other market makers by phone.
This is a tedious process which takes a lot of time and hence the
delays in executions.

Can you do anything about canceling BB orders ?

Yes, In order to cut down on the phone calls to customer service
and in providing you a better service, we plan to roll in the
following enhancement in the next 48 hours.
You will be able to cancel a LIMIT order EVEN if it is MARKETABLE
if it 1) is more than 5 minutes old and 2) if it's for less than
5001 shares.
This is for BB and Pink Sheets. (this is going to cost us $$
we will be eating a lot of your canceled orders)

MOOR is a wireless company.... they do radios for comms between companies and their vehicles among other less exciting ventures... nevertheless, it should be $5 sometime next week. Back up the truck... LOL
