-- Recorded license, development and royalty fees from the Company's
third-party licensees of $144 million, a 224 percent increase in the
first quarter of fiscal 2000, compared to $44 million for the same
period a year ago. An additional $34 million in intracompany royalty
revenues were charged to the QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies

If I understand this correctly the Q would have collected $178m if the handset division sale had gone through....This is way above anything anybody expected. Hmmm....costs on the handset division must have gone up or ASIC ASP's must have gone down.

vegas,

We'll see, maybe not a gap down, but doesn't seem like a gap up either, got to wonder if it treads water for a while...

I love to hear everyone talk their position.

Happy Hunting!

"Ugh...what that?"
"Fire."
"You play with, you get burned."
"You ignore it, you stay in cave. I play."
"Ugh!"
