Do I detect a smattering of negativity? This is a blow out report, not only did CPQ recover very handsomely in the consumer sector, but they also made a good profit. This last quarter was a water treader, a rear guard action, because of the delay in NT50 and Y2K. NOW, this quarter is IPAQ, Win2000, servers. The base that was established will blow dell and others out of the water because of the Service functions that were acquired from DEC, AND the alpha alternative, the yet to be announced three way partnership [My prediction only] with Radio Shack, Microsoft and Compaq, AND AV going out and beefing up....None of that existed this last quarter. This is the Beginning of the Beginning.
