I was thinking about mailing a brisket to Jorj to represent me in RENO, quart of Stubbs sauce too. I'm trying to make it. I want to bring Lostwife along, but sitters are tough with 4 kids and the RENO flight is an all-day affair. If I depart early Friday afternoon and come in Friday night I'll barely be able to lose all my money before I have to get back on the plane before lunch Sunday in order to be home in time for bedtime prayer and kisses. No non-stops. I haven't ruled it out yet. PLay Monopoly tomorrow with her while she's home from school. Start the game and set a 45 minute time limit per day. It'll give her something to look forward to each day she's home missing her friends. I find that the best time to try and REALLY talk to my children is when we're involved in something..kind of a "by the way while we're just sitting here doing this" chat. I always try to make homesick days Daddy days in a little special way.
